1. I really like his work because he just captures the natural beauty of animals while they aren't doing anything exciting. I like how he tries to get as much of the background and landscape as he can in the picture. His pictures really stand out to me because they are so natural and calm and very pleasing to the eye. I think its awesome how honest he is when he says he doesn't have a connection with the animals he is just obsessed with their beauty.
I really liked this picture because the photographer captured a really nice balance between both zebras and the background helps the main subjects really stand out. This photograph is balanced because both zebras are right next to each other, looking in the same diraction, and they split the picture right down the center.
5. Nick Brandt uses a Pentax 6711 while he takes pictures of the animals. That is important because he doesn't use zoom lenses or telephoto because he likes the actual beauty of the animals and actually being close to them.
6.Brandt takes these photo because he wants to capture the wild animals and places before they are destroyed or changed in some way.
7. His hope is to show people the natural state of being that the animals are in and to to show the world their natural beauty before they are gone.
8. "To me, every creature, human or nonhuman, has an equal right to live, and this feeling, this belief that every animal and I are equal, affects me every time I frame an animal in my camera." -Nick Brandt
