Academic Shoot Reflection and Critique

1. Some of the challenges I faced during this shoot were that I found it hard to walk into the classrooms and ask the teachers if I could take pictures because I was embarrassed.

2. I found myself thinking a lot about what I wanted the camera to focus on in the picture. I think I did a good job of doing this in my Lines photo because it partly focused on the left line which is what I wanted.

3. If I did this shoot again I would think more about all of the rules that I wanted to incorporate in this picture and focus more on that.

4. The things I would do the same were go to the library and get pictures of students because it was a really good place to see everyone working.

5. I think the easiest rule to achieve without noticing is Rule of Thirds because it is kind of the natural thing to do.

6. I think the hardest rule to capture is framing or simplicity because they are hard to naturally capture in a lot of situations.

7. I honestly understand all of the composition rules because I have learned them before.

I think her photos are all really good because they follow the rules really well and they are very creative. One thing I think she could change is to make sure her pictures have a little more to do with academics.
