Magazine Cover Peer Review
1. I looked at the magazine Country Life and Faith Bodman made it.
2.
2.
- I liked how the magazine title was facing two different directions because it looked really unique.
- I also liked how the sunlight was coming through the very top of the picture because it was very pleasing to the eye.
3. I think she could of used only white and red font colors because I feel like the yellow was a little out of place.
4. I picked this cover because the picture on the magazine was a really good one and it really attracted my eye because of the sunlight peeking through and the cute little girl.
5. Yes there is a bar code on the bottom right of the magazine.
6. I think the bar code definitely did make it look more "magazine like" because it looked more official and like it was supposed to be there.
7. I can easily tell that this was a portrait because I'm pretty sure a little girl wouldn't be in one of your classes.
Prompt Shoot Peer Review
1. I liked her "yummy" picture the best because the lighting was really good and the green soda can really stood out in the picture so it was easy to see what the subject of the photo was. Overall I think it was a very well thought out picture.
2. My least favorite picture was the "footprint" one because I feel like she could of done so much more with the picture. I think she could of put the paw print in a different background or changed it so that it wasn't completely centered.
3.
- I think overall the pictures were very creative in the way she incorporated the prompts into them. I liked how creative she was.
- I also liked how in the "eight" picture she made the camera only focus on the number 8 to make it stand out a lot.
4. I think she could improve by using the rule of thirds more and not making every picture so centered.
5. From my perspective she did the best job incorporating the prompt in the "yummy" picture because he seems to be enjoying the soda a lot and you can easily tell that by looking at the picture for a second.
6. I think the picture that least incorporated the prompt was her "footprints" picture just because it was just one paw print and I think it could have been better if she had more.
